Life is full of the question of what is gluten and what really makes a product gluten free. Here are the top 5 You Tube videos I found to be the greatest source of information.

The first great source on You Tube for gluten free knowledge is called What Gluten- Free Really Means.This video answers the mysterious question of how many parts per million of gluten can be left in gluten free products to be considered gluten free. The amount is 20 parts per million or stated in the video to the equivalent of 32 seconds out of a year. Also, this video states what the difference of an allergy and an intolerance is.
2. The next You Tube Video is called Gluten Free Duck. This video leans to the fun side of gluten free knowledge. It is about a duck that doesn't respect always getting gluten filled bread. With the duck talking about its preferences in gluten free product's , we learn what starches are considered to be gluten free . Also, that gluten free can products can be desired by animals also.
3. Facts About Gluten Free Diet- A Little Bit Better breaks down gluten free terminology into simple terms with great graphics. This video is all about what can be eaten in a gluten free life style no matter if you have celiac disease or just feel that taking gluten out of your body is for the betterment of your lifestyle. The main piece of information that is key to get out of this video is that going gluten free means you can still have specialty cookies but a piece of fruit would be a better option. May be I should start taking her advice.
4.What is Gluten? is a video over the oos and ahs of what gluten really is. As stated in the video gluten is the protein in wheat that gives its elastic texture. This leads to that gluten is found in all wheat, barley and rye products. But, the interesting fact I found out was that vegetarian options use gluten as a filler to their products. Lastly, stated in this video was that gluten free diets can lack in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
